Viewing forwarded emails and emails with attachments

    Hi,

    Before we pay for support, I'd like to know if the items below can be resolved in the current 1.0.2 version.

    - When forwarding emails to the POP3 email used by our Trellis install, we see a lot of text due to the encoding of the email. Is there a way to get rid of this on the Trellis side?

    - When forwarding emails to the POP3 email used by our Trellis install, if the forwarded email contains no comment or text above the forwarded message, Trellis will not process it (ie, will not pick it up and appear on the Manage Tickets section). Is this a feature or a bug?

    - When forwarding emails to the POP3 email used by our Trellis install, if the forwarded email has an embedded image in it, Trellis will display sort of the raw contents of the email. Is it possible for Trellis to display the image instead?

    Trellis seems to be a great product! I will not complain for something that is already available for free ;>)

    Parsing the emails is a complicated process. I honestly cannot say for sure that we will be able to resolve all your requests, especially because many email clients / services all use different formats. Your first request would be a real stretch. We should be able to resolve your second request, and for the third one I'd need more details.

    You can always purchase a refundable single-incident ticket and try out our support first.

    With all that said, we are striving to greatly improve the handling / parsing of emails in Trellis Desk 2.0.

    Hi DJ,

    I'll be happy to help you clarify, so feel free to email me directly. I've done the homework of checking all the help desk solutions out there and frankly speaking yours is one of the best. I'm currently using ZenDesk due to some urgent matters but I'm willing to come back to Trellis once you have 2.0 ready.
