Please help.
i am struggling to upgrade from v1.0.1 final to v1.0.2.
i have downloaded the new files, and uploaded them to a folder 'newupdates'
on my webserver. then when i point to the 'upgrade' path on my webserver
it tells me that i my current version is v1.0.1 final
then when i click 'begin upgrade!' it tells me that im upgrading to v1.0.1 final
why cannot i not upgrade to v1.0.2, am i doing something wrong?

What is this 'newupdates' folder? You should be replacing your current files with the new ones from the download.

The 'newupdates' is just a folder i created. but i have also tried to just upload the 'Upload' folder
to the root of my helpdesk. but still nothing. I am following (or trying to) the 'Upgrade Trellis Desk'
doc you have at this link 'http://docs.accord5.com/Upgrading_Trellis_Desk' and on step 2 it just
says to upload the files (and preserving the structure) to a desired location on my webserver.
our helpdesk is sitting at http://helpdesk.papyrussoftware.co.za/. so i am uploading to the root
of 'helpdesk' folder, is that wrong?

The contents inside the Upload folder need to be uploaded to your root 'helpdesk' folder, not the actual Upload folder itself. You should see that all the files match files currently on the server. So you literally will be replacing your index.php, admin.php, etc with the new ones in the downloaded 'Upload' folder.

I have done exactly what you instructed, i have uploaded all the files inside of the 'Upload'
folder, over writing existing files. but now when i go to the 'upgrade' path it tells me that my
current version is v1.0.2 (this also shows on my help desk home page) but when i click on
'Begin Upgrade' it tells me that i am upgrading to v1.0.1 final.
what is going on here? what is my actual version? why is it telling im upgrading to v1.0.1?
