Hi to all, I'm Giorgio and I work for University of Milan - Bicocca (Italy). My sector is about to adopt your software for helpdesk. I had to make some modifications in order to set it work correcty for our needs and we think that modifications could be helpful to all.
I'll explain what are these modifications:
1. I changed the admininistration menus in order to show only the links available to the user (es. if a staff member can only manage ticket he will see only Management -> Ticket Control menu).
2. We need to use CAS for authentication and, considering that TrellisDesk works only with local authentication, I had to make a little multi-authentication engine. This modifications is more complex than the previous one and maybe it needs your arrangement, in order to set it more similar to your coding style. I made a little reverse engineering and I made my best.
If you want I can send you patch files for these two modifications.
