   Alpha 4 of Trellis Desk 2.0 is now available.

   Please be aware that this is an unsupported alpha release. The software is expected to have bugs and is not ready for live / production use. Please continue to use the stable v1.0.4 release in your production environments.

   Download Alpha 4 here.

   • There is currently no upgrade path from Trellis Desk 1.0 or Trellis Desk 2.0. An upgrade path will be available in future releases. Do not try accessing the Upgrade Center. It will not work.
   • Some areas are to-be-completed (such as Backup, Plugins, Modules, etc).
   • Email piping / POP3 is not yet available.
   • Error reports / usage statistics may be submitted to ACCORD5.
   • No official customer support is offered for this release.

   Some notable changes from Alpha 3 include:
   

   • Ticket tracking system.
   • Initial guest ticket support (from ACP only).
   • Completed skin and language manager.

   This release is intended for testing and as a preview of Trellis Desk 2.0. If you have any suggestions, please submit them via the Trac.

   For continued updates on Trellis Desk 2 development, please keep an eye on the company blog and Twitter account. This post may be periodically updated with additional information on Alpha 4.

   Looks great, I like how the ACP looks and feels and it seems to have a pretty good response time. Can't wait until the final release :)

   Long Live Trellis for a while i thought nothing was going to move. Just wish we could get to final version quicker.

   Yes ... yes... i tried it..
   Just a few words.. WAUW... seems very slick... small question tough... from the alpha 4 release on the 5th of 2011 until a good stable release comes out... will this be before the summer?

    We do our best to respond to all forum posts, however please be aware that these forums are mainly intended for peer-to-peer (user-to-user) support and communication.

    I can assure you that we reply to all inquiries sent via our own Customer Center and I personally respond to every email that I receive in my inbox (unless it somehow gets caught in my spam filter).

    Is any work being done with v1.04 or is that build dead in lieu of v2.0?

    Most of our efforts on concentrated on v2.0. However, if urgent bugs (security, etc) pop up in v1.0.4, we will address them and release v1.0.5 if necessary.

    Hi DJ,

    I'm using your V1.0.4 but the new V2 looks to have a lot of the answers to the questions that my customers are asking for. How long before you anticipate to have a general release?

    We are using version 1.0.1 because we had to personalize the code to bring some of the functionality that are present in version 2. I would be gratefull if you could make a prevision for the availibility of version 2
