Send Mail issue

    Hi,
    I have some problems with outgoing mail.
    If I set any SMTP server, when sending a ticket, I have a blank page and the mail is not sent.
    If i set to send mail with PHP mail () does not have the blank page but the mail isn't sent anyway.

    I installed trellis desk on windows 2008 r2 with IIS
    Build: 10440094 | PHP Version: 5.3.19 | MySQL Version: 5.5.27

    check you smtp server and firewall, ensure that you can access the smtp server.
    windows no mail() function.

    I'm also having problems with outgoing mail in Trellis. What do you mean? Windows can't/doesn't use the mail() function? Then only way to actually send mail from TD on Windows + Apache is by SMTP mail? I've also already tried that, but somehow it didn't work.

    I have set up one Windows XP environment and one Ubuntu environment, it doesn't matter which we will use, I just need to enable e-mail sending till the end of this month.

    I saw in Ubuntu, that in php.ini, there is sendmail_path variable that is blank, so it probably needs some editing and configuring. Would be awesome if I could use SMTP on my Trellis Desk installed on Windows XAMPP.

    I'll test it today, also keep a close eye on our firewall, whilst sending mail and if I find anything interesting, I'll post it here...
