  1. I have everything installed and they seem to be working properly. When I go through the install, everything passes until I get to the MySQL setup. I put in all of the information I have (I know it works as I've tested it in other applications) and I get the error that the information is incorrect and it cannot connect to MySQL.

I'm not sure where I've gone wrong. I have even tried creating several different users in MySQL with different rights, but I get the same error every time. It's installed locally.

I'm running Server 2008 x64 and the latest versions of PHP and MySQL as I just downloaded them from their respective sites. Any ideas?

  2. I'm nto sure what the problem was, but I've uninstalled everything and installed it all on a new server. I'm working fine now.
