Showing statistics on who has sent, replied, escelated etc... what tickets over a monthly period. The trellis system is an amazing ticket system that we use in production within the company. It has all the tools we need apart from this one vital reporting tool that we could really do with. Don't get me wrong - it is a free and open source product and the developer has other things to do which we fully appreciate, however, it does look like we are unfortunately going to have to look to another solution this time. Elegant and Functional!<br /> Anyways, here are some thoughts for 2.0:<br /> 1.) Allow a Ticket Lookup without having to login. Allowing Guests to only have to type in their Ticket ID. Reason: We are a commercial printer, and we send out PDF Artwork for people to look at and approve. Sometimes, the person we are sending the PDF to is not the person who needs to approve it, and therefore would need to forward the ticket to someone else to view and approve (reply).<br /> 2.) Allow anyone to submit a ticket without having to login.<br /> 3.) Separate Admin/Staff Login Page. In order to Login as Staff it is currently a two step login process.<br /> 4.) On Admin/Staff Page, allow functionality for the Admin to Hide Panel Criteria for Staff Users. Explaination: We have staff that aren't as savvy as others, and they can get easily confused with all of the information that is displayed on the Staff Admin Section. For the most part, we would prefer to keep it so that all they can see is the tickets that they are responsible for right after they login, and only see those.<br /> 5.) Stealing from the ideas behind Eticket - On the "Manage Tickets" page, would be nice to have two separate Groups of tickets, "Waiting to be Answered" and "Answered". Really helps to know which tickets you've handled and which ones you haven't.<br /> 6.) Admin/Staff Create Support Ticket on Behalf of Client. Would be nice to be able to do this from the Admin/Staff panel, and have the option to automatically set the Status to "Answered" instead of the default "Waiting to be Answered". Reason: we create support tickets for our clients all of the time to inform them about an issue. Since we are creating the ticket, we are already working on the ticket, doesn't make sense to create a ticket, then update the ticket again, thereby sending two notifications to the client instead of one.<br /> 7.) In addition to the Staff/Admin Create Ticket - looking at OSTicket, they have a great AJAX feature that does a DB lookup on the email address of the users table while you are typing and automagically fills out the rest of the user information for the user you are creating the ticket for. It helps when you are a staff member and you have to create multiple tickets for one client, and makes sure that you don't type in the wrong email address.<br /> 8.) Multiple Attachments a must.
