&#60;p&#62;Im new to the forum, so just like to say hello and express my thanks to the development team and everybody here who offers their time and expertise to help make this fantastic free product work even better.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I recently configured a new heldesk with email piping enabled (google apps). The setup for google apps involved some tinkering as im sure anybody on this forum would know as there are alot of threads regarding this.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;After being ecstatic the find out that my email piping setup was working correctly, i soon discovered that this was in fact not the case, as email jobs of any useable length are cut off mid way.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I.E. Instead of &#34;Dear support, I am having problems with my voicemail despite resetting it several times through the voice prompt system.&#60;/p&#62;

&#60;p&#62;I am new to PHP and am trying to setup Trellis Desk to test. I am having trouble setting up PEAR with mimeDecode package (for email parsing) on PHP (using easyPHP WAMP on windows server 2003 x64 to test). &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I was wondering, is there an alternate program than PEAR that I can install that can be configured to replace its email functionality? If so, can you please let me know the steps that can be done. If not, does anyone have any advice on how to install PEAR on PHP for a WAMP (easyphp 5.3.9)?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Here is what I have done,&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I could not locate the go-phar.bat file online and from what I see on the forums, there isn't one anymore.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I tried the lated go-phar.phar file online and when I call it from the command line using: php -d phar.require_hash=0 pear\go-pear.phar&#60;br /&#62;
I get&#60;br /&#62;
(this application has failed to start because OCI.Dll was not found.)&#60;br /&#62;
(Unable to load dynamic library xxxxx\php_oci8.dll)&#60;br /&#62;
(Unable to load dynamic library xxxxx\php_oci8_11g.dll)&#60;br /&#62;
(Unable to load dynamic library xxxxx\php_pdo_oci.dll)&#60;br /&#62;
(Unable to load dynamic library xxxxx\php_sybase_ct.dll)&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I saw online a comment indicating that if I rename the php.ini file, the errors would go away. I tried that, however, after I specify system/local the next menu for changing locations is stuck on a loop returning to that menu regardless of what I enter/select.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Is there an easier way to install pear or manually install/configure it?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

The support system is logging a ticket if i put the email address on the TO field and i receive all the notifications. When i send an email to another person and carbon copy the support system email address, trellis helpdesk is not logging the ticket in the system and i do not receive any notification.&#60;br /&#62;
Is there someone who has come across this problem and how do i solve it. Please assist.

I know that it's stored in the db as &#34;close_reason&#34;, I am just having trouble replacing a string in the outgoing email i.e.: #CLOSE_REASON# with that database call. I am under the impression that the value is assigned to the variable $t on that page so I don't know why I can't get it to work by assigning $replace['CLOSE_REASON'] = $t['close_reason'] in the tickets.php file (inside the close email ticket section).&#60;/p&#62;

&#60;p&#62;I have been searching for a good free onsite helpdesk/knowledgebase solution for over a year and have settled on trellis desk v2.&#60;br /&#62;
I understand it is still in alpha stage and hope to convince our other company offices (186 in total) to use trellis desk company wide once it is stable.&#60;br /&#62;
Given that I have been in the process of testing v1 and recently v2 alpha 4.&#60;br /&#62;
V1 works fine except for the pop3 and e-mail piping feature . We use Office 365.&#60;br /&#62;
I have installed v2 alpha 4  on a macbook pro to test this week using xampp and also tried mamp.&#60;br /&#62;

&#60;p&#62;I was trying to create few users and groups and realized that to each user, I can only assign one group. The problem is if there are multiple depts and each dept has its own set of groups, I cannot assign a user to two different groups in two different depts where a user can be admin in one and staff in other.&#60;br /&#62;
Does anyone knows how to fix this or any work around?&#60;/p&#62;

&#60;p&#62;I'm currently using v1.0.4 but its not adeqaute for my needs and I need to move on.  I've been waiting patiently for v2 but the lack of news/comments is frustrating.  The Github site says &#34;end of 2011&#34; - well that's come and gone and I don't see any activity on Github for over 2 months now.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Can we assume that this project has now died?  I really don't mind waiting for something, its free software after all - but developers REALLY need to realise that status updates are important, if not essential for people like me who are trying to run a business and need to plan ahead.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I look forward to some sort of response to this, else I'll have no option but to move on and find another system to use.&#60;/p&#62;
